Our Thoughts
“… Almondsbury has always been popular! This reputation goes back years and is totally justified. How an area gets such a reputation, however, is not always clearly defined but these houses in Crantock Drive would certainly have been a contributing factor. The post war 1950’s saw the creation of many “stereotype” houses in the country and this is a beautiful example of this almost “dolls house design” 4 bedroom detached house. Don’t, however, imagine that you will be seeing any throw back to the 50’s décor; even as you approach this lovely house you can start to see that quality has been the “watch-word; the clay paved driveway pays testament to that. Through the front door and you will discover that the house has been maintained to the highest standards throughout. By no means standard; the property has been extended to provide extra ground floor accommodation that includes a stunning garden room and a useful utility room. Modernity is evinced by quality double glazed replacement windows and gas central heating whilst a garage and convenient gardens add the perfect finishing touches. Have a look at the photographs and then phone for an appointment to see this delightful house.
Almondsbury is a delightful dormitory suburb just inside the green belt on the northern outskirts of Bristol. This not only allows access to the motorway network within minutes but also the delightful South Gloucestershire hills and Severn Estuary are all within easy striking distance. So, whether you aspire to country living or are a “city” person, this house will be worth considering and should be viewed immediately to ensure you have the opportunity to purchase.
Directions
From the Thornbury office turn left and proceed up the High Street to the mini roundabout, go straight over onto Bristol Road and continue up the hill to the traffic lights. Turn right onto the A38, proceed through Alveston and Rudgeway and into Almondsbury passing over the M4 via a flyover. Take the next left [after the pelican lights] into Florence Park and the next right into Crantock Drive. No. 56 is on the left hand side a short distance along.
