Our Thoughts…

“ … I suppose I am the perfect person to write these thoughts because, when I first moved to Thornbury 28 years ago, I chose one of these wonderful houses for myself. Why “wonderful”? Well, where do I start?  I wanted a house that wasn’t the same as everyone else’s [as an Estate Agent I wanted to be different] and these “European” looking houses appealed to my sense of the unusual. I was also moving from an area where housing wasn’t as expensive as Thornbury and these generously proportioned family properties offer class beating value for money. Was I put off by anything at all? Well, frankly, no. There were differences that venture what is seen to be “the norm” like the central heating system which, if you are not used to it, will seem strange; but it works like a charm and warms the house in an even and comfortable manner. The low pitch of the roof offers less wind resistance and therefore less potential thermal loss from winter winds and the pale “sandstone” brick colour fits in nicely with the Cotswold Hills not so many miles away. Lounge, and separate dining room; square kitchen with open aspects and “no tiny bedroom” accommodation upstairs will prove that this is a family house at a great price … I can vouch for that …”

Directions…

From our offices turn left and drive to the mini roundabout where you turn left. Cross the next two mini roundabouts in quick succession and continue along Midland Way. When you have passed Alexandra Workwear on the left take the next turn left [approx 400 metres]. Cross the mini roundabout into Solent Way where No. 10 will be found at the end slightly to the left and facing you.
